We currently have
four members with an age range of 16-18 years.
We now only have
one male member. As such we seek new male
members to have
fair representation of issues from male and female perspectives.
All members of the
Group have a responsibility within the committee.
During meetings,
we follow an agenda previously prepared by our Secretary and Youth
Leader. Minutes are taken by our
secretary and are typed up for the following meeting. Our treasurer is responsible for all
financial details. Our other
members take on the roles of Activities and Events co-ordinators as and
when required. We hold an AGM in
November when a new committee is elected, as any other organization. We are a constituted
group.
We receive regular
input, support and direction from the Point
Community Council
and the Community Education Department for
which we are very
grateful.
